Livestock Shipment on the Southern Railway in the 1920s
At one time, the Southern owned and moved a considerable number of stock cars. In addition to cattle, several hundred cars of horses and mules were sent to Pinners Point, VA for export to Spain

Chattanooga had/has a similar zone map. Someday I will find my copy of the hand drawn map which had an 8 1/2 x 11 page for each zone and that showed each customer, the code, and dots representing the
