locked Photos of Pullman 10-3 painted silver for the Tennessean
Jason Greene
There was a thread a week or two ago about this. There were four cars originally that were painted silver to match. Then there were 3-4 cars that got shadow line scheme. Knickerbocker is the only car to do both schemes.

I will have a model of Knickerbocker (Shadow line) and Dahlonega (Plain Silver) at the RPM for convention later this month. Jason Greene

Great information and photo, Jason. I wasn't aware that Southern ever operated a shadow-striped heavyweight on the TENNESSEAN. Always something new to learn.

This is the best image available of a Tennessean Sleeper. It is a 12-1 not a 10-3, but the would have been the same or same color without the shadow lines. There were two eras of these cars.

Hi, Cannot find any online photos of Pullman 10-3s - or any other heavyweight sleeper, painted silver for the Tennessean. Was is a flat silver or a shadow scheme? TIA, Patrick
