Just a little reminder of the Gaithersburg Railroadianna show this coming weekend for 3 exciting days. Okay, if you want to enter during setup times for the dealers to cherry-pick the new goodies, on Friday and Saturday, it's gonna cost you $40 but otherwise Sunday is the usual $10 entry fee I think. Friday setup is 12-5; Saturday 10-4, Sunday for the general public is 9-4.
Other than that, timetables, books, magazines, photographs, slides, hardware, of and about railroads and just about any and every railroad for that matter, and other forms of transportation are there to add to your holdings or to offer for sale if you should choose to get a table or two. There will likely be an assortment of models available from a few dealers as well. Railroad china is also likely to be present as well.
This is one of the, if not the largest such event of its kind in the mid-Atlantic region for the entire year so in the immortal words "Come on Down ............" and experience the fun and excitement of finding that special something you've been seeking for a while.
It's going to be held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg, Maryland right next to the former B&O rails, Metropolitan subdivision and lots of freight, passenger and commuter train action can be expected.
Hope to see you there later this week.
