Locked "Borrowed" Pullman used as coaches, labor day weekend, 1952

The particular event where cars were needed, other than Labor Day, is not mentioned but it is remarkable that this many Pullmans were available and used as coaches. Can anyone speculate where they would have been stored. (Pullmans stored at Charleston could have been available to the Southern, Seaboard and Coast Line although 1952 is after the divestiture?)
